Lethbridge man charged with break-ins at five city businesses

Lethbridge Police have charged a city man in connection with five recent break and enters to local businesses.

They happened over a period of two weeks between May 16th and June 2nd.

Police went to a west side home and seized stolen property and collected other evidence linking a suspect to commercial break-ins resulting in losses totalling around 20 thousand dollars.

The break-ins happened at Highlands Pet Hospital, Mr. Lube South and West, Safeway Liquor and the Great Canadian Oil Change.

55 year old Larry Brent Ovens is charged with five counts of break and enter. He’ll appear in court next week.
