LETHBRIDGE, AB – Still a large number of new daily COVID-19 cases in Alberta.
Another 1,590 people tested positive for the virus over the past day out of 20,227 tests for a provincial positivity rate of 7.9 percent.
There there were 13 additional deaths for a total of 697 COVID fatalities province-wide.
At present count, 681 people are in hospital province-wide and 128 of them are in the ICU.
Here in the South Zoe, there were 46 new cases of COVID-19 and 20 of them are in Lethbridge.
In Lethbridge County, there were three more cases reported between Dec. 10 and Dec. 11.
