LETHBRIDGE, AB – More than two-dozen people in Lethbridge tested positive for COVID-19 over the past day.
Out of the 34 new cases reported in the South Zone of Alberta Health Services, 25 of them were in Lethbridge.
That’s pushed the number of active cases from 147 to 164 day-over-day when recoveries are factored in.
Alberta-wide there were 396 new cases out of just under 10,000 tests for a provincial positivity rate of 4-percent.
Hospitalizations are now under 500 – at 475 – with 89 of those patients in the ICU.
There were nine additional deaths reported in the past day.
Just over 114,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine had been administered as of Feb. 4.
