LETHBRIDGE, AB – An investigation is underway by Alberta’s Medical Officer of Health after three cases of COVID-19 were confirmed at a Lethbridge elementary school.
The Lethbridge School Division says Public Health staff are determining who at Dr. Probe Elementary may have been exposed during the infectious period.
A letter by Alberta Health Services, posted to the district website, says the risk of the general population in the school becoming infected because of these three cases is low.
Dr. Probe Elementary is currently on COVID Alert status.
