LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge has recorded it’s 20th COVID death since the onset of the pandemic.
A woman in her 70’s passed away on Thursday.
Her death is linked to the outbreak at The View retirement community on Scenic Drive north.
Four other residents of the facility have also died in the past two weeks.
An outbreak at The View was first confirmed in early January.
There were nine new cases reported in Lethbridge on Feb.18 though with recoveries factored in, the number of active cases dropped by four to 204.
There were 325 new cases in Alberta out of 9,376 tests for a provincial positivist rate of 3.5 percent.
