LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge City Council wants a more diverse and inclusive workforce.

Members voted unanimously on Tuesday to direct the City Manager to look at hiring practices and policies that will create a municipal workforce that reflects the citizens and communities it serves.

Councillor Belinda Crowson brought the resolution forward.

She says an “equity, diversity, and inclusion lens” helps ensure City policies, programs, and services result in equitable outcomes for all residents.
