Charges pending against young driver following crash east of Taber

A three vehicle crash just east of Taber Thursday morning (June 20) sending two people to hospital.

Taber RCMP say just before 7 a.m., a pickup truck heading westbound along Highway 3 near Range Road 16-3 hit the back of an SUV that was stopped at a construction zone, as well as a semi truck.

One person had to be extricated from one of the vehicles. The two that were taken to hospital have since been released.

RCMP say charges are pending against the pickup truck driver, who is a youth.
