LETHBRIDGE, AB – If you’re an avid amateur barbequer, Exhibition Park will be the place you’ll want to be.
Lethbridge is hosting Alberta’s first Master Series Barbeque Competition.
“Smoke, Wind, and Fire” as it’s called takes place Saturday and Sunday July 10th and 11th on the exhibition grounds. It will feature prizes in four traditional grilling categories: chicken, ribs, pork and beef brisket.
The event is free to attend as well and a great chance to learn more about grilling from some expert demonstrators. Anyone who attends will also have the chance to enter a team into the Backyard Amateur BBQ Competition to be held on Saturday, July 10th.
A pair of Calgary chefs, John Jackson and Connie DeSousa will be the judges for this two day event.
This Masters BBQ Competition is also sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society, the world’s largest competitive barbeque organization
