LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Be Fit For Life (BFFL) centre at Lethbridge College has a new home.
It was previously funded by the provincial government to provide fitness classes and training, but earlier this year, all BFFL centres across Alberta lost that funding. The onus was then put on each centre to determine whether or not to keep the program and how to fund it.
Lethbridge College has decided to integrate its Be Fit For Life programming into the Centre for Business, Arts and Sciences.
Officials say classes, workshops and presentations will continue to be available to the larger community, and students will now get hands-on learning, as well, as they get involved in creating and leading BFFL content.
