LETHBRIDGE, AB – Work on a major watermain renewal project is moving to 9 Ave N this week.
That road will be fully closed to traffic for some phases at the worksite near 20 St N.
The City of Lethbridge has been replacing cast iron watermains for over 40 years now. About 10% of the city’s total watermains are still cast iron, but those account for all almost 100% of watermain breaks.
This work along 9 Ave N should be complete by the end of August.
