LETHBRIDGE, AB – Milling and paving work is beginning later this week along eastbound Whoop Up Drive.
Starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, two eastbound lanes will be closed for asphalt milling but one lane will remain open to maintain two-way traffic.
On Saturday starting at 5 a.m, all the eastbound lanes will be closed to make paving faster and more efficient. Drivers will be directed to the westbound lanes of Whoop Up Drive to maintain two-way traffic.
All that road work should be complete by next Thursday, Aug. 19, weather permitting.
You’re reminded to drive with caution near the worksite, follow any posted detours, or consider using Hwy 3 as an alternate route.
