LETHBRIDGE, AB – A new vaccine record is now available for Albertans planning to travel within Canada, or internationally.
This updated version – which you can access online to print or save to your smartphone – will feature your full legal name, your unique QR code and both official languages, in line with Canada’s recommended standard.
If you already have your vaccination record with a QR code on it, there’s no need to get this new one if you don’t plan on traveling. The QR code scanning app that businesses use for verification will be able to recognize both versions.
If you don’t have access to a printer, or don’t own a smartphone, you can also visit a registry office or call 811 to get a printed copy of your record at no charge.
