Lethbridge residents being asked for input on two city seasonal programs

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge is looking for your thoughts when it comes to snow clearing and street sweeping.

The feedback will be used to try and understand the best way for the city to prioritize these two seasonal programs.

You can find the survey online at Get Involved Lethbridge. It’ll be open for resident input until February 13th.

A city news release states the street sweeping program survey outlines what current practices and service levels include along with options for residents to review and give feedback on. Options for consideration include changes to the frequency of sweeping, focusing on priority routes and rotating the sweeping of residential areas.

When it comes to an potential snow control changes, an interactive map was developed for the snow and ice survey.

A review of the snow and ice control and street sweeping programs were part of a recommendation made to City Council in a KPMG report two years ago.

The survey results will be presented to Councillors at some point this coming spring.
