Lethbridge, AB – The Western Hockey League announced today that the Saskatoon Blades are unable to ice a team due to nine players on the active roster currently on the COVID-19 Protocol List.
As a result, the Lethbridge Hurricanes home game scheduled for tomorrow night has been postponed. Fans with tickets to this game should hold onto them as they will be honoured for the rescheduled game. The new game date has not yet been established.
The WHL requires all WHL roster players, hockey operations staff, and other team and League office personnel to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
