Lethbridge County giving out more than $71,000 s as part of its Community Grant Program.
Six grants have been awarded to a number of local community groups.
Those include the Coulee Winds Saddle Club, Friends of St. Joseph’s School, Kinsmen Club of Coaldale, Turin Community Club, Monarch Community Association, and McNally Community Association.
Reeve Lorne Hickey says these grants provide social, cultural, and recreational activities within the county.
Grant funding is given out on an annual basis.
2019 Lethbridge County Grant Recipients
• Coulee Winds Saddle Club- Arena repairs and upgrades- $5,800
• Friends of St. Joseph’s School Council- Playground upgrades and redevelopment- $10,000
• Kinsmen Club of Coaldale- Eastview Park renovation and facility enhancement- $10,000
• Turin Community Club- Community centre security and storage- $8,800
• Monarch Community Association- Community hall upgrades- $17,005
• McNally Community Association- Heating replacement project- $20,000
