Severe Thunderstorm WATCH issued for the Claresholm, Okotoks, Brooks, Vulcan areas.
Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, damaging hail and heavy rain.
Thunderstorms over western Alberta will move east through the day. A few of these thunderstorms will likely become severe this afternoon and into this evening.
