Eight people died from drug poisoning in Lethbridge in November

New data from the Alberta Substance Use Surveillance System shows there were 14 drug poisoning deaths in Lethbridge between September and November of 2022. Three were reported in both September and October and there were eight deaths reported in November. All of them fall under the category of non-pharmaceutical opioids.

Across the province there were 110 drug poisoning deaths in September, 121 in October and 120 in November.
