Lethbridge Police is investigating an assault that left a man with life-threatening injuries in the early morning hours on Friday.
At approximately 12;22 a.m. on Friday, June 2nd, officers responded to a report of an assault after an injured male attended a business along the 200 block of 13th Street North looking for help.
When officers arrived, it was determined that the 21-year-old male had been stabbed, and he was immediately transported by EMS to Chinook Regional Hospital and later airlifted to Calgary where he remains in hospital in stable condition.
According to a release from LPS, the investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released.
