Trial dates are expected to be set at the end of this month for a former Lethbridge massage therapist, who’s accused of sexually assaulting a client.
A preliminary hearing in July found there is enough evidence for Cyprien Mudenge, 53, to proceed to trial.
It’s alleged that Mudenge touched a 35-year old woman inappropriately last November during a massage treatment. He was let go from his job at that time, as well.
He formally entered a not guilty plea to a single charge of sexual assault Monday morning (Aug. 12), also electing for his trial to be heard by a Court of Queen’s Bench justice alone.
Mudenge will be back in a Lethbridge courtroom on Aug. 26 to set his trial dates.
