Lethbridge Police are looking for information after a man was assaulted outside a downtown bar.
It happened around 2:30 am Saturday (Aug. 17). LPS say a 25 year old man was with a woman when he was assaulted by a group of unknown men near Boss Hog’s along 1st Avenue South.
Police allege the victim was involved in a confrontation with some people in a white car. The vehicle left the area, but came back. That’s when several men got out and apparently beat the man up before taking off.
The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for head injuries and then released.
Lethbridge Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed what happened to give them a call.
LPS say there is no evidence to suggest the suspects or the vehicle are associated with the nearby Supervised Consumption Site.
