A basement fire in north Lethbridge causing about $75,000 in damage overnight Sunday.
15 firefighters from three stations responded to the blaze at a single family home along the 200 block of 18th street north just after midnight.
Two adults and a young child escaped without injury.
The fire was quickly extinguished but officials say there is extensive smoke damage.
Investigators say the cause was accidental adding residents are reminded to keep home utility areas clear of flammable materials especially around gas, water and electrical infrastructure.
