Teen arrested for uttering threats at Milk River high school

Milk River RCMP taking a 15-year old boy into custody on Thursday (Sep. 19), following complaints that he was allegedly uttering threats at a school in that town.

Police say he uttered threats while other students were present during school hours at Erle Rivers High School. He was arrested without incident and there is no on-going threat to public safety.

The teen, who cannot be named, is facing one charge of uttering threats. He remains in custody at this time awaiting a bail hearing.

Milk River RCMP says it treats investigations like these very seriously and will continue to take action to ensure public safety.
