A man from Lethbridge and a woman from northern Alberta will go to trial concerning an Amber Alert which was issued earlier this year.
42 year old Charmaine Darnel of Whitecourt and 23 year old D’artangan Pool of Lethbridge are facing abduction charges.
Both waived their right to a preliminary hearing earlier this week and have also elected to be tried by a judge and jury.
Back in June, RCMP at Fox Creek were called after three young kids were reportedly taken from their home in that northwest Alberta town in the middle of the night.
A woman and the children were found, unharmed, later that morning in central Alberta near Sylvan Lake.
The case will be back in court up in Fox Creek October 21st for an arraignment.
