A wind WARNING has been issued for southwest Alberta including Waterton, Pincher Creek, Crowsnest Pass, Cardston, and Fort Macleod areas.
Strong winds gusting to 100 km/h will weaken this afternoon.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
