Charges laid in connection to west Lethbridge shooting, north side assault

Lethbridge Police laying charges in connection to a recent shooting on the west side.

A 30 year old man told police he was in his backyard along the 400 block of Columbia Boulevard west just after 8am Monday when a white SUV pulled up and a man pointed a firearm at him.

He took off running and heard a gunshot while the vehicle sped away.

Police say a bullet casing was recovered at the scene.

Further investigation revealed shots were also fired at a home on Dalhousie Court west as two bullet casings were found there.

Police believe shots were also fired at an undetermined north side location after the west side incidents.

32 year old Kristylyn Healy has been charged with breaching probation and possession of stolen property while 29 year old Jarret Healy is facing 15 criminal charges including discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He’s also been charged with aggravated assault in connection to an unrelated incident on September 11 where a 31 year old man was found unconscious at the intersection of Mildred Dobbs Boulevard and Lettice Perry Road north.
