Lethbridge Police make arrest in connection to recent serious crimes

A 40 year old man is behind bars, accused in a string of recent serious crimes.

Lethbridge Police are investigating a robbery Wednesday morning (Oct. 23) along the 2300 block of 5th Avenue North.

Officers are also looking into an attempted carjacking Tuesday night on 27th Street South and a kidnapping late Sunday night outside the north side McDonald’s restaurant.

In that incident a man was forced to drive the suspect around the city and then out to the Blood Reserve before being left at the side of the road.  

LPS say the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
