Operation Red Nose set to kick off 25th year in Lethbridge

Operation Red Nose is set to kick off its 25th year in Lethbridge.

The annual holiday season drive-home service is a major fundraiser for Pronghorn Athletics at the University of Lethbridge.

U of L Sport and Recreation Director, Ken McInnis says since the program has been running here, it’s raised around $750,000.

It’s been one of the most successful in all of Canada.

Operation Red Nose starts next weekend, Nov. 29 and runs weekends until Dec. 31.

Between 600 and 700 volunteers are needed each year.

Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Pronghorn Athletics at [email protected] or go to here to download the volunteer application form.
