Pair arrested after break-in at north Lethbridge tire shop

Lethbridge police have arrested a man and woman in connection to a break and enter this week at a north side business.

Late Tuesday night (Nov. 26), officers were called to reports of a B & E in progress at Kirk’s Tire on 22nd Street North.

A suspect was seen on video jumping a fence into a compound and was seen stealing rims from a bin.

When police arrived, they found two people in the business’s parking lot. That also lead them to a utility trailer hitched up to a vehicle, which officers say had rims belonging to Kirk’s Tire inside.

42 year old David Ferreira and 36 year old Connie Padluk, both of no fixed address, are facing charges of break, enter, and theft.

They’ll appear in court at a later date.
