A new campaign is underway to support Lethbridge businesses.
The Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Lethbridge, and the Downtown BRZ have launched: #ShopTogetherYQL
The campaign is aimed at encourgaing Lethbridge residents to shop local.
Chamber Executive Officer, Cyndi Vos says boosting local spending opens the door for new opportunies for business and contributes to long-term community investment. “We, and by extension Lethbridge, are truly brighter together when we work collectively and that is the fundamental of this initiative.”
The campaign is asking residents to share photo of themselves or their family shopping around the city with the hashtag: #ShopTogetherYQL.
Those who share photos will be entered into a random draw to win a $1,000 downtown shopping spree.
“Lethbridge offers a diverse range of businesses, services, and independent artisans that contribute to the overall well-being of our community,” says Erin Crane, Director, Investment Attraction, Economic Development Lethbridge. “Simply put, shopping local has a massive multiplier effect on our local economy that results in many positive spinoffs for our community as a whole.”
The #ShopTogetherYQL contest will close at 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 5. Contest winners will be announced on social media.
