LSO Intima 1 Medieval Melodies

Medieval music harks back to the times of kings and queens, knights, minstrels, and troubadours.  Janet Youngdahl (soprano) along with Musaeus explore the repertoire of medieval composers such as Hildegard Von Bingen, a highly prolific composer of the twelfth century, who counts amongst her works many chants, hymns, and other written forms of visionary theology.  This first concert of the LSO season offers sublime solace and life-affirming inspiration for a troubled world.
