Details are sparse at this time but Lethbridge Police say an officer was injured in a training accident Tuesday morning.
The member was taken to hospital and is recovering.
Local officials say the Director of Law Enforcement was notified of the incident and the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team has been directed to investigate.
