Pincher Creek RCMP investigate damage to grain bags

PINCHER CREEK, AB – An investigation is underway in the Pincher Creek area after several bags of grain were damaged.

RCMP say barley in the eight damaged bags was exposed to the elements and its integrity has been compromised.

Damage done is estimated to be around $225,000 per bag which amounts to $1.8-million in total.

Mounties say the incident occurred sometime between 4pm last Friday, Jan. 29 and 10am last Saturday, Jan. 30 east of Pincher Creek on Township Road 64.
