LETHBRIDGE, AB. – Pulling a vehicle over for a traffic violation this week netted Lethbridge Police drugs and cash.
On Monday night (Feb.1), officers stopped a car along 2nd Avenue North.
LPS say a woman driving was found to be in breach of parole conditions and after a search of the vehicle, police found fentanyl, cocaine, someone else’s ID card, and over $1,700 in cash.
37 year old Francis Fransen of Raymond faces a list of charges including drug trafficking, breaching conditions, and being in the possession of the proceeds of crime.
Franson is now in jail at the Lethbridge Correctional Centre.
