Weekend house fire in north Lethbridge believed to be suspicious

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A fire that damaged two homes in north Lethbridge this past weekend has been deemed suspicious.

The blaze broke out at a house along the 200 block of 16th street north late Sunday afternoon and then spread to an adjacent home.

No one was hurt but significant damage was done to the tune of about $185,000.

Lethbridge Police have been working with Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services to investigate but they haven’t been able to pinpoint a cause yet.

Anyone with information on the fire is asked to call the LPS or CrimeStoppers.
