Lethbridge’s biggest-ever drug bust results in two year jail sentence

What had once been referred to as the city’s largest-ever drug seizure being resolved in Lethbridge Provincial Court Monday (June 17).

Back in February 2017, ALERT reported that $1.2 million worth of various drugs, as well as cash and other stolen property were taken from four homes. Three people were charged.

29 year old Drew Boake previously pleaded guilty to a single trafficking charge in relation to 21.7 kg of marijuana and was sentenced Monday to two years in jail.

Meanwhile, 25 year old Katlyn Robinson had her charges withdrawn and charges against 31 year old Alexander Herbert were stayed by the Crown last year.

The Crown says the case was dealt with in this way due to complications with evidence.
