The University of Lethbridge has a new dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Dr. Robert Wood is an accomplished administrator and researcher. He’s served in a similar role as the U of L’s Dean of the School of Graduate Studies.
Wood says he looks forward to working in the department of health sciences. He came to the U of L back in the year 2000, began teaching sociology and has moved up the ranks ever since.
Wood notes as much as he misses teaching, he feels his best work is done in administration. “I’ve always admired the energy and the work ethic of health sciences colleagues and staff. Working together, I know that we will further elevate the identity and the impact of our Faculty.”
He assumes his new role on July 1st.
