South Lethbridge apartment fire intentionally set say investigators

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A fire at a south Lethbridge apartment building is under investigation.

Fire crews from three stations were called to the blaze along Ashgrove Road at 8:40 Tuesday night.

The fire, in the basement of the apartment, was quickly extinguished and contained to one suite though damage is pegged at about $100,000.

Officials say the fire was intentional and that the investigation is ongoing.
