U.S. to reopen land border with Canada in November for non-essential travel

OTTAWA, ON – There’s some good news for travellers wanting to drive across the line to the United States.

There are several reports the Americans will be reopening their land borders to full-vaccinated Canadians next month.

The date has not yet been set, but it’s expected to be sometime in early November.

Full details have yet to be released by American officials.

We still don’t know yet whether the U.S. will allow in those Canadians who have received two different vaccines. Again, we are still waiting for those details too.

The U.S. has had its land border shut down to non-essential travel since late March of 2020 when the pandemic first took hold across North America. Canada reopened its border to fully-vaccinated Americans back in August.
