LETHBRIDGE, AB – A one-night traffic enforcement blitz by Lethbridge Police ended in three people being charged with impaired driving.
There was also one immediate roadside sanction suspension and 52 tickets issued for various traffic violations.
Ten vehicles were towed and officers arrested one person who was wanted on a Criminal Code charge.
The Traffic Response Unit initiative, held on Saturday, involved extra officers being brought in to address ongoing, problematic driving behaviours and vehicle equipment violations.
