COALDALE, AB – A fatal two-vehicle crash near Coaldale early Friday morning is under investigation.
Coaldale and District Emergency Services, along with Coaldale RCMP and Lethbridge EMS, were called out to the intersection of Highway 4 and Highway 845 at around 6:40am Dec. 3.
Officials say the T-bone collision involved two pick up trucks.
One male driver was taken by ambulance to Chinook Regional Hospital in stable condition while the other male driver died at the scene.
Highway 845 south of Highway 4 was closed for about 3.5 hours while police investigated the crash.
No further details have been released.
