Lethbridge City Manager resigning less than two years on the job

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The search is on, yet again, for a new City Manager.

Craig Dalton is resigning his position to pursue another job opportunity. He started with the city in May of 2020.

Dalton says is thankful for the chance to be part of a strong leadership team at the City of Lethbridge and to contribute to the community in a meaningful way.

In the coming days, City Council will be discussing a way to move forward to find Dalton’s replacement.

Dalton had succeeded Bramwell Strain who resigned early in his tenure as city manager in late 2019.

The next City Manager will be the third person to hold that position full-time in just over three years.
