One driver dead after head-on collision near Pincher Creek

One person is dead after a serious collision on Highway 3 near Pincher Creek. RCMP was dispatched to the scene at about 11:11 a.m. on Aug 18, just east of Highway 785.

The Pincher Creek RCMP detachment says a sedan was attempting to pass another vehicle, when it collided head on with a pick-up truck. The driver of the sedan, a 62-year-old man, who was a resident of Blairmore, was dead on the scene, according to police. The other driver sustained minor injuries.
