Two people being sent to hospital over the weekend after a truck collided with a train in Brooks.
Emergency crews say they responded to an uncontrolled railway crossing near the Brooks Aqueduct on Friday (July 12) around 6:30 p.m.
RCMP say a pickup truck attempted to cross in front of the oncoming train.
The 21-year old male driver from Bassano was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, while a 17-year old female passenger from Brooks was airlifted to a Calgary hospital in critical condition. She has since been upgraded to stable condition.
CP Rail Police are investigating the crash.
