A drastic reduction in the number of tickets handed out during Street Machine Weekend.
Lethbridge Police and Alberta Sheriffs issued 61 traffic and liquor violations this past weekend compared to 179 during last year’s event.
Police say the most common offences were speeding, stunting and equipment violations which is consistent with previous years.
Several impaired driving charges were also laid.
