Four drug poisoning deaths reported in Lethbridge in August

New data from the Alberta Substance Use Surveillance System shows four drug poisoning deaths in Lethbridge in August. All of them fall under the category of non-pharmaceutical opioids. In both June and July, three people died from drug poisoning in the city.

Across the province there were 94 drug poisoning deaths in August, 92 of them from non-pharmaceutical opioids. Two deaths were caused by pharmaceutical opioids. In July, there were 92 drug poisoning deaths reported in the province.
