As Spring weather makes itself known with warmer temperatures, Lethbridge County is reminding residents that this also means increased farm traffic on roads.
Increased heavy truck traffic and the warmer temperatures mixed with precipitation can lead to mud and debris being tracked onto roads and highways within the County.
Drivers are reminded to be be on the look out for any tracked debris on the roads as this has been known to cause uneven driving surfaces. watch for posted speed limits and drive with caution in areas with increased farming activity.
Those with haulers are asked to reduce mud tracking when possible and drivers can apply for a tracking permit by calling 403-732-5333 if large amount of mud will be transferred onto any public roads.
