Coaldale outdoor pool opens for 2023 season

After being delayed due to construction, the Coaldale Pool is open for the summer. According to the Town of Coaldale, the pool has had a new liner installed, along with an accessibility ramp put in. The pool deck will be getting a facelift as well with new patio furniture and a gazebo.

In June the pool will be open from 12 to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 12 to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The days will be broken into different time blocks for different swim times including lane swim, open swim, and Aquafit. A day pass is free for kids under five, while those over the age of five pay up to $5.25.

Because of staffing issues, the scheduled lane swim from 12 to 1 p.m. on June 9th will be cancelled, but according to the town “the pool will be open the rest of the day for regular hours.”

The Spray Park is also open and will be on from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
