The Transportation Safety Board is investigating a fatal mid-air crash between a small plane and a glider in southern Alberta.
It happened Friday afternoon (July 26) just outside of Black Diamond.
Emergency officials say a single-engine tow plane collided with a glider. The plane was able to land, however the glider went down, killing both people on board.
The glider pilots were said to be on a training flight when the crash happened.
No names are being released, however the two people killed are being reported as an experienced flight instructor and a student.
