Indigenous artists wanted for Orange Shirt design

The City of Lethbridge is looking for local Indigenous artists to submit some Orange Shirt designs.

As the city prepares for this year’s Reconciliation Week, the Reconciliation Lethbridge Advisory Committee is looking for Indigenous artists in the Lethbridge and surrounding areas to submit their designs for Orange Shirt Day.

These designs are to be original and should be able to be printed on a t-shirt.

The winning artist will be chosen by a nominations committee made up of the Reconciliation Lethbridge Advisory Committee and the City’s Indigenous Relations Office. They’ll also receive a $500 honorarium.

Application deadline is 5 p.m. on Monday, July 31st, more details and information is available on the City’s website.
