Lethbridge is one of 21 communities on the upcoming Zellers pop-ups list. According to the announcement from the Hudson’s Bay Company, the pop-up of the iconic Canadian store will be open by August 11 inside the Melcor Centre’s Hudson Bay location.
President Sophia Hwang-Judiesch says the pop-ups are part of market testing by gathering customer insight and helping choose possible locations for future stores.
“Our customers are very much part of our growth process, and together we will shape the future of Zellers.”
The two other Alberta communities included in the next round of pop-ups are Red Deer and St. Albert. In 2022, it was announced the Canadian chain would be brought back through a pop-up format in Hudson Bay locations across Canada.
